Cherokee is a journey into modern progressive psychedelic and tribal music. 9 progressive rhythms full of lush tribal atmospheres, deep solid kicks, and warm phat basslines, from all over this World made to make you move throughout the night. With sounds that could fit in the forest, in the desert, on the beach, or late at night in the club. Cherokee is a very universal compilation.

Featuring tracks by: Rick Pier O'Neil (RPO) out of Spain who is a true veteran in the progressive tribal scene who graces us with 2 dark and tribal melodic gems; Lunaspice out of France who is very well known in the psy progressive world delivers the perfect mid-day psychedelic electro ride; P.O.T.S. out of Germany have been around for years and drop off one of their old school deep classic tribal stompers; newcomer Ozone from Australia brings 2 of his wickedly funky and fresh atmospheric and truly psychedelic tracks that immediately take you straight to the Bush; Shapestatic from the USA bring their first progressive track thats a colorful bouncy and energetic groove that keeps you on your toes till the very end; newcomers Bioluminescence from Pangea give the world its first taste of their dark organic and melodic tribadelic sound with 2 tracks made deep in the rainforest.

For the second Pure Perception compilation we would like to present a different side of our vision.

A cd made for the warm sun rays and late nights in the club. With an epic classic progressive house gem from Rick Pier O Neil with vocals from MangaDiva; and 5 remixes from some of the most talented progressive producers around the world, including; Moonbeam, Solead, Lunaspice, Astronivo, and Dsens.

Each remix being very original and innovative and giving a whole new take on the original. All staying atmospheric, driving, and very danceable. Moving through deep sexy house, minimal, techno, progressive trance, and progressive psy, giving this track the ability to be played at many different points throughout the day or night.

We are very honored to present all the bonus tracks as each is very original sounding yet keep with the theme of the whole cd very well. We have another original from RPO thats deep - driving and with his signature dirty basslines and hard hitting kicks, also an elegant Solead original that takes your mind to the beach with a very classy melody reminiscent of the early house days with an insanely grooved out bass, as well as the first track from N.A.S.A featuring his brand new sound of super groovy and uplifting melodic trance that keeps building till the very end taking your mind to another planet.

Bioluminescense is the exciting collaboration of DJ’s Kameleon & Labyrinth. In their own worlds they concoct hypnotic journeys that have made people move for many years, but when their powers combined they bring together a refreshing new sound. Combining influences from many years of collecting, DJing, and producing electronic music, their sound is deep, driving, and brings new ideas to classic progressive sequencing. The two have been working hard in the studio making sure each track is full of life, with a truly organic feel.

Deerfields is located 20 minutes south of Asheville, North Carolina in the Mills River Community. The private retreat is a 940-acre family-owned tract of unspoiled wilderness offering camping, swimming, and hiking. Cascading through the Queens Creek Mountains of the Appalachia, the land is surrounded by ponds, apple orchards, and rhododendrons.

Although Cherokee is available on digital we feel the cd is a much better quality and would like to really help promote the buying of cds in general. facts:
a. better sound
b. last longer / better quality than burnt cds
c. packaging and design (remember the old vinyl days)mp3s and even wavs dont sound up to par. plus you will have to continue burning the same cd if you plan on keeping the track for a long period of time..

Lets evolve with sound, not regress.
